personality

Tori has always been a leader. She likes to be in charge and have a plan. She has always excelled in everything. I remember when she was 10 months old. She would practice stepping up the front steps over and over again until she got it. She would get mad if you would help her. She still has that same determination and drive.

Alex was my most cuddly baby. She could always get you to smile. She melted hearts and still does. She is very confident, yet very sensitive. When I pick her up from Kindergarten she will say, "Thank you Mommy, sweetie, cutie pie." When she was 3 years old I was pushing her around WalMart and a store clerk came up to us to see if we needed any help. Alex cut in and said, "Excuse me, I love your earrings." She knows how to make everyone's day!

Benton is my perfectionist. He will make sure everything is in its correct place. He helps me sort laundry and will tell me what pile every article belongs in. I dropped him off at Nursery one day and he was the first one there. He immediately went to the chairs and table and began to rearrange them until they were just right. He is very particular. He loves his schedule and doesn't like change. Every afternoon, once we take the girls back to school, he will say, "Come on Mom, it's time for naps and Tom and Jerry on your bed."

Adalyn is my tiny baby. She is only 5 months and will complain to me. She won't cry but she will complain. She lets me know when she isn't happy. She also loves to spit. Her face will scrunch up as though she is about to sneeze but she will then, purposely, spit at you. She also growls. I find it hilarious. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come. Oh, Dear!

BJ - I love to read your post! What a great little momma you are to 4 very lucky little kiddies - lots of positive praise. It reminds me so much of your own mother and grandmother too. The Mormon Colonies sound like a great place to be. I think it will be a good topic for our English class sometime. (another opportunity to talk about the church)
Darling family. Thanks for sharing.
