WHY?! TRY?!

Today I...
*swept and mopped the floors
*washed all the dished (by hand)
*made all the beds
*cleaned the bathrooms
*vacuumed the floors
*baked a cake
*made Sunday rolls
*showered all the kids
...and you would NEVER know it by looking at my house and kids at this moment! All in a day's work...or waste!

New trick...

Benton has discovered that the garbage can doubles as a walker. I found him walking the trash around the kitchen then I noticed that he would ocassionally reach in a grab a "snack" from the can and EAT IT!

It's time to buy a lid for the garbage can. Although he is getting around on his own now.

my boy

benton still isn't walking but he has to stand up to throw a ball. he has perfect balance while catching or throwing but cannot seem to take a single step without falling over. his first clear words were "DAD" and "BALL" and "THROW." for his first birthday he received two balls from grandma and grandpa hatch. he was so excited and never let them out of his sight. since then his favorite pass time is playing catch.

My Valentines

This year for Vday I decided to spread it out all week long. I gave Garrett something different everyday. The first day it was "Sweets for my sweet," then a personal check made out for a million kisses, I heart attacked his truck, and the last day gave him a box of chocolates and something silky.

Garrett surprised me with a rose for each of his girls and a box of chocolates. He got a massage for me, then he made us girls a steak dinner complete with a side salad, baked potatoes and root beer (my favorite). We ended our evening playing games with some good friends.

Valentines Day was spent having a cookie and cupcake decorating party with Tori and Alex's girl friends then we went to a ward dance. The dance was a blast. We line danced, slow danced, "hustled," snowballed, and much more. It was a blast. Then a few couples went out for a quick bite to eat. Needles to say it was very eventful and I didn't get one picture of any of it!!!!! Ahhh!

I have turned into my mother!

Yes, I drove Tori to school today in my satin pajamas, fur coat, slippers and sun glasses. The only thing I am missing to complete my mother's morning "drop you off at school" look are curlers in my hair. Love you mom!
