Love & Marriage

Jordan and Rachel (my sister) were married last night in the Mt. Timpanogos temple. They had a beautiful reception at the Sleepy Ridge Country Club. We ate yummy food and danced the night away. It was so fun to be in the temple with my siblings and mother. Congratulations!! We love your new husband.

Close Call!

We were in an accident last night. 5 miles outside of Moab we slid off the road and flipped the truck. We landed passenger side down and everyone was suspended from their seat belts. We had to climb out of my window. No one was seriously injured...THANK HEAVEN! We were definitely being watched over last night!

The truck broke its rear axle and our tires came clean off. No much body damage and NO broken windows! My kids were in shock and crying as I pulled them out of the wreckage but we were able to walk away. Thankfully a highway patrol was there and witnessed the whole thing so he was able to call in for help within seconds.

Alex is suffering a swollen and bruised face and Tori has a severe seat belt rash and Garrett and I have sore necks and backs and Benton was 100% okay. We are so blessed that we had our seat belts on and strapped into car seats. Minutes before the wreck I let the girls unbuckle so I could paint their nails then Garrett insisted they buckle seconds before we began to slide. INSPIRED!

Benton turned 2!! We celebrated the terrible two's with a basketball cake and candy (Benton's fav). Grandma and Grandpa Hatch were there to party with us.

Benton's new ride. He calls it his "BIG truck" but it is a plasma car and the whole family enjoys ridding this thing.

Happy Birthday Son. Here's to another year of less trips to the hospital, no more biting and scratching, going potty by yourself, sleeping in a big-boy-bed, and many, many more messes. We love you.

We had an adults only New Year's Eve party and the cousins had their own New Year's countdown party next door. We brought in the new year with fire works and sparkling cider. We had a wonderful holiday. Happy New Year!

Beautiful Aspen pines and snow everywhere. We set up camp,Hatch style, which included hot cocoa, sleds and a bon fire. Everyone had a great time especially Tori. She won the prize for "speed racer" and "MVP" of sledding. I think she went ripping down that hill over 60 times and didn't want to quit when it was time to go.

Christmas Eve spent with family. Benton and Kolby look like twins!

Every Christmas Eve we let our kids open ONE present from under the tree. It so happens that every year they pick the package containing their Christmas PJ's. With no orchastrating from me...of course! I wish I got a picture but this year was Garrett's first year ever recieving and owning an official pair of pajamas. He was more excited than the kids!
