innocent prayers

This morning during family prayers Alex was blessing our home and food and family. Then she continued to pray and ended by asking Heavenly Father to please bless Daddy's "crap" (translation: crop). I am sure Heavenly Father has to chuckle every now and then at these little prayers.

The Cut

It has taken me 7 years to grow my hair to the middle of my back. I just got up the nerve to cut it. I am usually a dare devil when it comes to style but ever since I got married I realized how much one person's opinion can affect EVERYTHING! So I've been careful...for the most part, ever since.

Well, it was time for a change and I did it. To help ease the blow I decided to cut Tori's hair too. She wanted it shorter because she was always complaining about being hot and wanting it off her neck. Well, Garrett was more SHOCKED when he saw her hair that mine didn't bother him at all!

To cut or not to cut...that is the question!

Grandma Walker was kind enough to let us come home from Arizona with this! I am so excited. My girls are thrilled to be learning how to play. The story is that this piano was carried across the plains with the Bensons. I am so grateful to be able to have it in my home.
