Being a hairdresser, I would say go ahead and cut it. It's healthy for your hair, and hair always grows back. Plus the haircut your looking at isn't super short, so you would still be able to do all the same things with it!
CUT IT!! I had my hair down to my waste for 4 years, and finally one day I cut it up to my chin. I have never regretted it... so much easier and a nice & welcomed change. I totally say chop it!!
after 7 years of growing it out...should i leave it ??

i say cut, you can always grow it out, but it feels so healthy when you cut a little off. plus i love the style you want, it would look cute on you.
