As my mother-in-law says...The Good Lord gave our children bottoms, where there are no vital organs, (just fatty tissue), so we could teach them lessons they don't seem to comprehend by explanation (like running out into the parking lot, or biting another child until they bleed, etc.).
If they don't get it the first time, you have to send it from the bottom up...sometimes!
