A typical Saturday my kids will BEG for friends to come and play. This Saturday, once their friends arrived, they were quickly bored so I decided to help them out. We played Beauty Salon. I pulled out all my old make-up and let them have at it while I styled their hair. Then I busted out all my nail polish and let them paint their fingers and toes. Afterward everyone was starving so we had homemade chocolate chip cookies and milk. By the end of the "play-date" I was exhausted but everyone had a good time.
Benton got in on the action too, until his dad got home and gave him a ball to play with instead of a lipstick.
What outing doesn't involve treats?? Life is too short to pass those by.

We LOVED how Claire came home looking like a princess! And I told her she should let me do her hair like that and she said I didn't know how....

what a fun mom...I want to be you!
Those are great ideas. I'll totally have to remember them later. Now, only if Anna HAD hair and Lucy let me touch her head....that would be a different story.
