This room is on the top floor of our garden house and was used for storage of EVERTHING from old refrigerators to Ensigns from the 1900's. I decided with a little TLC, it could be turned into something wonderful!

After three months of sanding (on my hands and knees), stain, paint, more paint, plaster, lots of windex, very large shop vac, mirrors and a bar....we have
MY NEW BALLET STUDIO!!!!

That is beautiful. Great job. I wish I was still dancing, I just can't find the time. Plus I am trying to get all this weight off, then I may pursue it more. What a great addition to the house.

That is awesome! You know what would be fun...the salon I go to has wood floors and they've either painted it black or stained it black and then sanded it so it looks shabby chic. It is SO cute, I wish I had a picture to send you. It would be so fun to do your wood floor like that! I wish I was closer I could come help!!!
