Hair Twirling Finger Sucking (she started this habit in the womb!) Finger in the belly button.
All my kids have a self soothing action. I guess they inherited it from their mother. I sucked my thumb and twirled "doodads" on blankets until I was 10 years old. Shhhh....don't tell, but I still find comfort in twirling "doodads."
Those are all so cute! All my kids have blankets! My 7 year old still has to have it. When I was little I would always rub the end of my pillow in between my fingers, and I noticed that sometimes when I am stress at right and trying to fall asleep, I do it. I don't even notice it. Your kids are just so cute! I LOVE your hat for easter, and the kids all looked so cute!
That is so cute. Calvin sucks those same 2 fingers as Alex and has to feel something silky with the other hand while he does it. Claire doesn't have a self soothing action and oh, how I wish she did--she takes forever to calm down.
Haha isn't it funny how kids do things like that? My kids always had to have what we called their "softie" - a piece of silk cloth (like a silky garment) next to their face in order to fall asleep. Denali and Tyson both grew out of it around age 3 (only because I HID their softies and MADE them grow out of it). Sayda now has her cute little pink softie that my mom made her =)

Oh my...the finger in the bellybutton is hilarious! I have a blankie-lover, a thumb-sucker and a former soother(pacifier)-addict under my roof.
They are so CUTE!! I love all their little habits they have. I miss you and love you!
