The Great Debate

Garrett and I have had the same debate for the last 6 years. The question is....is it considered proper etiquette to sip the milk out of your cereal bowl?? What do you think??

Well when you at your house and its early in the morning ,everyone is still in their jammies , what kind of ettiquette is there anyway who cares whether you sip or not! That has never been a question in our house yet, but I do like the kids to finish their milk and not waste it!

I'm pretty sure it's not proper etiquette. That's never stopped me from doing it! But I don't usually eat cold cereal in formal settings either :)

I'm going to say no! My husband does it and the sound makes me want to hit hip over the head with the milk carton!!! Sipping your milk from a mug after oreo cookies on the other hand is totally acceptable!

I say, unless you plan on filling up your bowl with more cereal to finish the rest of that milk you better be drinking it out of that bowl, considering the price of milk these days. (plus it's all delicious and sugary.)

From what I've recently learned about Garrett, I would be a step up to merely drink milk from a bowl!

As long as no one is looking, go ahead and sip; however, when others are around to hear, I'd say it's a definite no-no to sip/slurp! (I can't stand the sound of people slurping their food... it drives me bongos!) :-)

Wiht the way the economy is going, it would be a shame to waste it!
Go ahead and gulp it down, I do!
