memories.my.mother.

Sundays are a day to catch-up and visit with family. I was able to visit with my mom and reminisce....

Mustard- Mom took us to a baseball game and during the 5th inning my mom got a little excited (with loaded hot dog in one hand). She started jumping up and down and soon the mustard from her hot dog slipped down onto the back of the women sitting in front of us...with a WHITE silk shirt on!!! Instead of recognizing the situation Mom pretended it wasn't her, however she was the ONLY one with a hot dog in her hand and directly behind the "victim". The women was NOT happy.

Uhaul- My mom was driving a uhaul (all by herself) from AZ to UT. On the way she decided to stop and buy a hamburger. She attempted to drive-thru only to discover the top of the uhaul was scraping the top of the drive-thru. To rectify the situation she threw the truck in reverse and was "outta there" leaving behind a damaged entrance to BurgerKing.
Shopping-Once mom bought a TON of groceries. While checking out she paid for the food and was handed her receipt. She took her change and receipt and walked out of the store...leaving all the groceries behind while double checking her receipt to make sure she wasn't over charged for anything!

Love you MOM! Life is always INTERESTING with you around.

Hey you forgot the time that mom made brownies for a party and when the party was over, she realized why nobody ate them. She forgot to bake them in the oven.

Holy. Cow. Your mom is hilarious! I don't know why these stories surprise me - they really shouldn't. I wish I could think of a good one to contribute!

I love funny mom stories. Nothing is better than a few good stories about the insanities of our parents.

what a funny mom! I love your long hair. I hate how mine was so long, and I just chopped it! I guess it will have to grow.
