Ice Blocking

Last night was "Date Night" so I thought I'd get creative and plan an evening of fun. I asked Garrett to pick-up some ice blocks on his way home from work and he did NOT want to do it. When I asked him WHY? he said that we were all going to get hurt and it didn't sound like fun at all. Well, come to find out, he had NEVER been ice blocking before. When he saw that you just sit on an oversized ice cube and slide down a grass hill he changed his tune. He thought we were going to slide down the street!!! This poor farm boy didn't get out much. HA. We had a blast and our kids loved it!

It took 3 kids to push the ice block up the hill. Great work-out!

Dang....I just missed you!!! We don't have any plans...the car wash guy just showed up and is washing my car so bring yours over if you want. Or you can drive by and tell him you want yours washed also. Camden is going to take a nap in about 45 minutes….it’s my favorite time of the day and Derrick should be getting home sometime this afternoon. I have to get my lesson for Sunday ready and that’s about it. What are you guys doing???

I dont ever remember doing this. I do remember using cardboard and going down the grassy hills. Think I miss that, much warmer than actual snow!
