One night we were sitting down to dinner and Alex announced she had to go "potty." She was excused from the table and went into the bathroom. A few minutes later we heard her crying. I thought nothing of it, she was probably just having difficulty pulling up her panties, but the crying did not stop. I finally set down my fork and headed for the bathroom to discover she had fallen into the toilet and couldn't get out! I felt so bad...she had been there for awhile so I didn't catch the moment with my camera but here is a recreation...sort of.

Oh my gosh! Poor kid!
That is so funny! I kind of wish we lived down there as well! Your blog makes me miss Mexico! Your family is darling! Tell Jeni that I'm excited to see a post on her blog!
Poor thing...How did you NOT die laughing though?!!
ha ha I'm sorry how could you not help but laugh. :) I'm sure if that happened to Ben though he wouldn't be laughing...hopefully she isn't too tramatised :)
Oh that is sad, I love Alex she is such a sweet little girl
Grace did the same thing - scared her to death. The only difference is that she's four, not two. Our good friends in Omaha built their dream house and put little toddler toilets in their kids bathrooms. They said they'll just switch them for the normal size toilets when thier kids get older. Isn't that so cute? If we had that, Mae probably wouldn't be so afraid of the potty.
That's awsome! Does she like to take all her clothes off to use the restroom?...or is this because of them getting all wet in the toilet?
