This one is for my utterly gorgeous sisters who keep me "IN" with all things fashion. Here Adalyn is sporting her first pair of SKINNY Jeggings, bling Binky, and LUCY Trumpettes (the socks). It is so fun dressing little girls!!

"We are a happy family." It's a good thing I got pictures BEFORE church.

Garrett gave a beautiful blessing to Adalyn. Six of his seven brothers were there to stand in the circle and Grandpa Hatch. We also blessed Berkley and Margo's baby, Presley, the same day. 

Some of the things that were mentioned in Ada's blessing included:

*health and strength

*being valiant in your first estate

*making good desicions

*being a good example

*loving and serving the Lord

*marrying in the temple

*someday, raising a family in the gospel

Adalyn Aspen Hatch...1 week old

My very talented friend, Jen, took these amazing pictures of Baby Ada. Two hours of fun in an overly warm room, with a naked baby...and only two "accidents"...one on the floor, the other on Garrett. Thank you Jen. I LOVE them!

over the river...and through the woods...

Grandma came to our house! My kids are SO excited to wake up every morning to play with Grandma Udall and Auntie Louisa. I am so lucky to have her here to help me with everything while I recover.

Adalyn Aspen Hatch

 After a long night of strong contractions I sent Garrett off to El Paso to pick up my mom, sent my in-laws off to Arizona to help move Berkley and family, I was left alone to face the day. I had to get Tori off to school, Benton off to "Happiness School" and attend a school play. After laying down for a quick nap I tackled some housework, made a roast, and baked some cookies. By this time I was having STRONG contractions every 20 minutes.

 I called Garrett and told him to HURRY home! I was forming a back-up plan...and just about to use it...when...Garrett pulled into the driveway at 6:00pm. I kissed my mom and Louisa hello/good-bye and jumped in the car to race to the hospital. We arrived to the hospital at 6:30pm and the baby was born at 7:35pm.

Adalyn Aspen Hatch was born with NO complications and in practically 1 push. The doctor just had enough time to put on his scrubs, turn around and catch the baby. 7lbs. 4 oz., 20 inches.
