Town Excitement

Today was a very windy day. HA...windy was an understatement at our house. Here are some pictures to help describe what happened...

Turns out this tree was rotting in the middle. The first of it fell (almost hitting Alex's bedroom window), then the second part fell (almost hitting Tori's window) then Garrett and some men jumped in with chain saws and trucks with cables and got the last two parts down in a safe direction to avoid creating a huge HOLE in our roof. We had a ton of town support, on-lookers and most importantly...HELP. Thank You!!

Body For Life!

My sister, Rachel and I have started doing the "Body for Life" exercise plan. We have entered the "challange" and hope to win the $25,000.00 grand prize. While I am in Utah visiting my sister and I would wake up at the crack of dawn to exercise at Gold's Gym. Our first trip to the gym I dropped a 25lb. weight on my ring finger! It was the most painful thing ever!! I thought my nail was going to pop off. Needless to say, my finger was black and blue and I cannot bend it. It is useless.
My warning to all....WEIGHT LIFTING IS DANGEROUS!
It was worse the day before I got the picture.

My Trip To UT

Garrett surprised me with a flight to UT, just me and baby cakes. He arranged for our girls to be taken care of so I could fly solo.
It has been so much fun. Me and my 4 sisters and mother have hung out all week...a first in years. I just read in GLAMOUR magazine that "the best way to spend your time is with your family because what better than to be seen with people who share your great genetics." I agree!!! I LOVE my sisters! They are so HOT!
.
Every Sunday (growing up) my mom would make us match. I HATED it. But now I have my kids color coordinated every Sunday...so the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Anyway, we thought we'd surprise my mom by showing up to church MATCHING!! Let me just say it was the surprise of the century. She LOVED it. She ran upstairs to change so she would match us too

Mother's Day!

I was surprised with breakfast in bed. ... waffles and ice cream...yummm. Garrett then surprised me with tickets to UT and a wonderful roast beef dinner that he prepared all by himself. It was a wonderful day OFF. Loved it.

I will post pictures when I get home.
