The Men in my life...

My dad came for a quick 24 hour trip to visit us. I love that he makes time for short trips to just check in on his children. They mean a lot to us.

Garrett sat down to play UNO with Tori last night. She whooped him!! It is so sweet to see "Daddy" pay close attention to his daughters and give them one-on-one time with him.

Graduation!

My first baby graduated Pre-Kinder today. I can't believe how much they grow and learn in such a short time. Tori was awarded the "Class Leader" with her certificate of achievement. I am one proud mama.

Impromptu El Paso

On our way out of exercise class Jeni, Danicia and I decided to go to El Paso...that afternoon. We ran home, showered, packed up the kids that would not be attending Father-and-sons that night, and hit the road.

Our first stop was the Outlets...

then the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for some chocolate dipped strawberries...

then onto dinner at Texas Roadhouse...

then we went to Target...and everyone scored somthing great...

And after a nice evening of bubble baths...Dove chocolates...and a chick flick...we hit the sac. In the morning we cleaned up, hit WalMart and then we were on the road again.

Alex, Remy, and Tori crashed the last 30 minutes of the trip...too bad it wasn't the first 2 1/2 hours...but

the babies had a grand time...especially the ride home.

And that was our trip to El Paso.

Alexandria Marie is 3!!

Today Alex is 3 years old! You were such a tiny baby I thought you'd never get big and now you are such a big girl. You are such a sweet and tender hearted little girl. You are always concerned about everyone's feelings, especially your dad. You have your dad wrapped around your little finger. You have a sweet little voice and a cute lisp. You spoke your own language until Benton was born then you started speaking English. You are becoming a little tease and you love to get Tori going. You and Tori have become the best of friends and you play very well together and insist on sleeping together every night. I love watching you two play and I hope you are just as close to Benton whe he gets bigger. I love being your mom and watching you grow and learn.

I can't believe you are 4 months old! Time flies. You are starting to grab things and put them to your mouth. Your motor skills are coming along. You love to babble and are such a good mannered baby. You are a "momma's boy" and I wouldn't have it any other way. You love to sleep in the crook of my arm every night. We have got to break that habbit soon. You are starting to want to eat foods now and everytime we sit down to the table you want to be included. You've got a million dollar smile and a great laugh to boot. I love having you in our family.
